Growing Herbs ...
Choose a Sunny, or nearly sunny area, with good rich, well drained soil.  You might like to have a bed dedicated just to herb ... or interspursed with other plants.    Either way it is always nice to place your herb near a pathway, so when you brush by .... you enjoy the scent !!

A Decorative Container with drain holes may also be used.  Place a small piece of weed barrier over the drain holes, the layer with 2" of gravel.
Fill with a good rich potting soil. Plant, and place by the back door is a perfect place to "snip" a little Thyme for Supper !!
