Questions ??

#1)  Are Corn Meal & Corn Gluten Meal the Same ??   NO

Corn Meal is an organic fungicide ... used to control algae in ponds or lawns.  Use: 20# /1000 Sq. Ft.,
1# / 300-500 Sq. Ft.  or
2 Cups / 100 Sq. Ft.

Corn Gluten Meal is used as an organic Pre-Emergent.  It stops seeds from germinating by inhibiting the growth of the seed's feeder root by causing a break down in the cell wall.
It also is a source of nitrogenn  (9-0-0)

#2) What is D. E. ???
Diatomaceous Earth or D. E.
is made from shells of one-celled plants called diatoms.  When dry, they are very sharp, and cause soft bodied insects to dehydrate and die.
They are NOT HARMFUL to warm blooded animals, earthworms, and it is not a poison.     Insects must come in contact with D. E. to work.

Beneficial nematodes are a highly effective alternative to chemical insecticides. They control harmful soil-dwelling insects by feeding on their larva - all without harming other beneficial bugs!

LADY BUGS: LadyBugs love Aphids - they can eat 200 aphids per day !!   The larvae and the adult Ladybugs eat large quantities of phids, and other small soft bodied insects such as scale, thrips, and mealy bugs.
** Release at night after the foliage has been wet down.

PRAYING MANTIS:  They will eat almost any insect, especially caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles, and other damaging pests.

TRICHOGAMMA WASPS: Used to control pecan case-berarer, cabbage worms, tomato horn worms, and other caterpillars ... they attack over 200 types of worm pests.
