Beneficial Insects:
BENEFICIAL NEMATODES: A must in any organic garden. These microscopic worms seek out and destroy harmful insects in your garden, such as grubs, fleas, gnats, flies, cutworms, billbugs, ants, and Japanese beetles. Beneficial nematodes are a highly effective alternative to chemical insecticides. They control harmful soil-dwelling insects by feeding on their larva - all without harming other beneficial bugs!
LADY BUGS: LadyBugs love Aphids - they can eat 200 aphids per day !! The larvae and the adult Ladybugs eat large quantities of phids, and other small soft bodied insects such as scale, thrips, and mealy bugs.
** Release at night after the foliage has been wet down.
PRAYING MANTIS: They will eat almost any insect, especially caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles, and other damaging pests.
TRICHOGAMMA WASPS: Used to control pecan case-berarer, cabbage worms, tomato horn worms, and other caterpillars ... they attack over 200 types of worm pests.
